Poland: Increased Activity Of Flying Objects Violating Polish Airspace Observed At Border With Belarus
"In connection with the observed increased activity of flying objects in the border airspace with Belarus over the past 24 hours, we inform you that the situation is being fully monitored by the Border Guard as well as by the Police. The objects that violated the airspace are smuggling balloons. The services are securing the balloon debris along with illegal packages of cigarettes without excise tax, after the approximate location has been indicated by the Operational Command of the Armed Forces. All actions undertaken at the border are conducted within the framework of an integrated state protection system. The Police and Border Guard remain in constant, direct contact with the Operational Command of the Branches of the Armed Forces (DORSZ). We are fully aware that the current situation is an element of broader actions of a hybrid nature. Their goal is not only to test our systems but, above all, to provoke social unrest. We emphasize: Polish services are prepared for this type of provocations. Every signal of a violation or approach to the border zone is verified. The presence of officers and soldiers at the border, as well as constant oversight of the airspace, guarantee the security of the State. Please refrain from succumbing to unverified information. In the era of information warfare, we ask that you rely solely on official announcements issued by the relevant authorities." - Polish Border Guard
