NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued September 3 at 3:56PM EDT until September 3 at 4:15PM EDT by NWS Detroit/Pontiac MI

At 356 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Southfield, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
Troy, Royal Oak, and Detroit Zoo around 400 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Franklin, Madison Heights, Orchard Lake, Clawson, Berkley, Oak Park,
Hazel Park, Lathrup Village, Bingham Farms, and Farmington Hills.
