...The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

Rio Grande At Columbia Bridge affecting Webb County.

For the Rio Grande...including Columbia Bridge...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Rio Grande at Columbia Bridge.

* WHEN...From Friday evening to Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 28 feet, or 8.5 meters, the flow reaches the height of
the left bank. Flow exceeds left bank near the gauge. Most of
customs and mall parking lots are inundated downstream in Laredo.
The lowest residences are threatened in Laredo and Nuevo Laredo.
Livestock, pumps, and equipment in the river channel are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.5 feet (2.9 meters).
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet (4.9 meters).
- Forecast...The river is forecast to climb into caution stage by
Friday morning, with a continued rise through minor stage early
Saturday morning, and cresting near 29 ft early Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet (5.5 meters).
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 28.9
feet (8.8 meters) on 04/06/2004.
