NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 16 at 3:12PM CDT until July 16 at 6:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

At 312 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms had diminished
over the warning area. However, runoff from earlier rainfall
continues, and flooding may still be encountered. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Kansas City, Lee's Summit, Raytown and Unity Village.
