NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 16 at 1:53PM CDT until July 16 at 3:00PM CDT by NWS Midland/Odessa TX

At 153 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated scattered showers and
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1
and 3 inches of rain have fallen since late this morning. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Mainly rural areas of Western Borden and Eastern Dawson Counties,
including U.S. Highway 180 and FM 1054.
