Rota, Tinian and Saipan are in Typhoon Condition 3.
Alamagan, Pagan and Agrihan are in Tropical Storm Condition 3.

for people in Guam and the Northern Marianas.
.WATCHES/WARNINGS...
A Typhoon Warning continues for Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan.
A Flood Watch is in effect for all of Guam and the Northern
Marianas. Please listen closely for any Flood Warnings that might
be in effect for your area.
A Coastal Flood Watch is in effect

information about additional hazards.
.STORM INFORMATION...
At 7 PM ChST...the center of Super Typhoon Bavi (09W) was located
near latitude 12.6N...longitude 150.5E. This was about 380 miles
east of Guam. Storm motion was west, 270 degrees, at 8 mph. Storm
intensity was 165 mph.
.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
Winds will increase to catastrophic levels, especially near the
center of Bavi. Additionally, storm surge of up to 4 feet near the
center, coastal inundation from runup, and 5 to 10 inches of rain
with locally higher amounts will add to the hazards.
