SYRIA - The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced that it is closely monitoring emerging reports alleging massacres in al‑Hasakah Governorate, stressing that the matter is being treated with the highest level of urgency and gravity.
According to the ministry, specialized authorities have already launched formal investigative procedures to assess the credibility of the information and determine the facts on the ground.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior: "We are following with utmost interest and seriousness the reports received regarding the occurrence of massacres in al-Hasakah Governorate, and we affirm that the competent authorities have immediately initiated the necessary investigation procedures to verify the received information."
