Alerts come through two paths: live monitoring of official and primary source feeds, and direct messages from our team when a development warrants immediate attention. Team messages are labeled "From our team."

The confidence chip on each alert tells you what kind of verification it carries, at a glance. Source attribution is included so you can trace every item back to its origin.

Reading the Confidence Chip

Each alert carries one chip that tells you its reliability level at a glance:

  • Tier 1: Highest confidence. Confirmed by multiple authoritative or official sources.
  • Tier 2: Strong but still developing. Backed by credible sources, with verification ongoing.
  • Multi-source: Cleared sourcing, consistency, and accuracy checks; corroborated by independent reports.

Every item also clears the same checks before publishing, whichever chip it carries; the box above explains what "cleared" means. Sourcing detail (how many independent reports, whether it is a primary/official source) is shown per-alert in its "Sources" line.

How to Use This Feed

  • Scan fast: The title, timestamp, and chips give you everything you need without reading the full alert.
  • Trust the chip: Tier 1 and Tier 2 mean confirmed by multiple sources, at different confidence levels. Multi-source means corroborated but not yet at tier confidence. Each alert's "Sources" line spells out the detail.
  • Check back: New items appear as they clear verification. The UTC clock shows you exactly how fresh the feed is.
