TAMPA, Fla. - At 10 p.m. ET on July 29, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces successfully completed a heavy wave of strikes against Iran in response to yesterday's attempted missile attacks on U.S. forces.

CENTCOM assets struck dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targets in Iran, including military command centers, missile and drone facilities, coastal surveillance and defense sites, and maritime capabilities. The strikes aimed to further diminish threats posed by Iran and its proxies to American forces, commercial shipping, and neighboring Gulf countries.

On July 28, IRGC forces launched multiple ballistic missiles from Iran in an attempted surprise attack on U.S. forces based in the Middle East. All Iranian missiles were successfully intercepted.

More than 50,000 U.S. service members are currently deployed to the Middle East and remain highly vigilant, focused, lethal, and ready.

TAMPA, Fla. - U.S. Central Command and the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces conducted precision strikes in Iraq, July 28, against Iran-aligned terrorists that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) directed to attack U.S. forces and Saudi energy infrastructure.

U.S. and Saudi fighter aircraft struck multiple terrorist logistics and weapons sites across eastern Iraq in a strong response to over 30 IRGC-directed aerial drone attacks in the last 72 hours.

The unwarranted attacks against U.S. forces were not successful.

From February through April 2026, there were more than 600 attempted attacks on U.S. citizens and facilities by Iran-aligned terrorist militias in Iraq.

The IRGC and its terrorist proxies must cease these attacks to avoid further U.S. military response.

POHANG, South Korea – U.S. Marines with 3rd Marine Logistics Group utilized advanced manufacturing capabilities to produce a replacement component for a U.S. Coast Guard watercraft during the Combined Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore 26 exercise in Pohang, South Korea, July 11, 2026.

While conducting CJLOTS, an exercise designed to train U.S. and Republic of Korea forces in the transfer of personnel and equipment from sea to shore in austere environments, a Coast Guard vessel required the replacement of a specific part that was not immediately available through standard supply channels. Marines with 3rd Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd MLG, equipped with expeditionary fabrication systems, were then tasked with providing a solution.

"There is a demand to decrease the supply deficiencies and backorders in order to increase repairs and replenish items quickly," said Chief Warrant Officer 2 Jonathan B. Salas, utilities officer for Regional Maintenance Operations Company North, 3rd Maintenance Battalion. "Advanced manufacturing is one answer to solve this problem set. In this case, we cut a potential two- to three-week shipping delay for a replacement part down to just a few hours. The replacement part itself cost about $12 to print, the same as the original, but we have the option to use a cheaper filament that would cut the cost by another $4 without sacrificing performance."

Operating out of an Expeditionary Fabrication Facility, or X-FAB, the Marines 3D-printed the replacement part by reverse-engineering the original piece in their design systems. Following minor adjustments, the final printed part was installed and functioned effectively, allowing the watercraft to resume its role in the combined exercise.

"The immediate effect that the 3D-printed part provided to the mission was expediting the continued use of the Coast Guard’s rigid-hull inflatable boats, valued at around $600,000 each," Salas added. "This allowed the Coast Guard to operate quick-reaction-force and patrol missions, ensuring the security of the surrounding waters for CJLOTS."

"The first prototype was a success; they were taken aback by the fact that a part such as their strainer can be reverse-engineered and 3D-printed in full in less than half a day," said Cpl. Kenzie Gallang, a metal worker with the battalion.

This application of advanced manufacturing demonstrates a practical method for the ROK-U.S. alliance to mitigate supply chain delays. By producing required components on-site, combined joint forces can maintain equipment for operational readiness in expeditionary environments without relying exclusively on traditional logistics nodes. The ability to share these sustainment solutions across service branches and allied nations significantly increases operational flexibility.

BEMOWO PISKIE TRAINING AREA, Poland — Deputy Chief of Defence Lt. Gen. Dragoş‑Dumitru Iacob of the Romanian Armed Forces visited the NATO Forward Land Forces (FLF) Battle Group–Poland at Bemowo Piskie Training Area (BPTA) on July 23, 2026 to review training, infrastructure, and multinational interoperability.

Iacob received briefings from Polish Land Forces Training Center officials on BPTA’s live‑fire, infantry and small‑arms ranges (including grenade and close‑quarters facilities), mechanized and armored training areas for infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, air‑defense coverage and capabilities, target ranges and firing distances, engineering ranges, and the overall layout of training sectors.

Polish hosts presented a map of the training areas and outlined the organization of the 15th Mechanized Brigade, how the brigade’s equipment and traditions are integrated into operations, and plans for an upcoming equipment upgrade.

U.S. Army Lt. Col. Steven Saxion, commander of the 2nd Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment, and of the NATO FLF Battle Group–Poland, briefed Iacob on the battle group’s composition and multinational rotations, which include Romanian, Croatian, British and U.S. troops. He also cited recent anti-UAS exercises his battalion conducted in Hohenfels, Germany.

The commander of Romania’s 348th Air Defence Battalion reviewed a near‑term training calendar and described his unit’s role and capabilities.

Iacob toured a static display of armored vehicles and spoke with troops from Romania, Poland, the U.S., Croatia, and Britain. He consulted with Polish Vice Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Karol Dymanowski and offered words of support to junior‑enlisted Soldiers.

“Meeting with both the Romanian and Polish Vice Chiefs of Defense today was a terrific opportunity to highlight the Battle Group's capabilities, especially our Romanian Air Defense unit, and our close partnership,” said Saxion. “We truly are 'stronger together.’”

Leaders from the participating nations held a working lunch to reinforce interoperability goals and discuss future cooperation. The visit ended with an exchange of gifts and the presentation of challenge coins, emphasizing camaraderie and Romania’s commitment to collective defense on NATO’s eastern flank.

In support of the enduring Operation TUNDRA MERLIN, the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Munro (WMSL 755), USCGC Storis (WAGB 21), and USCGC Fir (WLB 213) conducted a combined sail in the Bering Sea alongside Royal Canadian Navy HMCS Max Bernays, reinforcing the maritime partnership between our two nations on July 21, 2026.

TAMPA, Fla. - On July 17, two U.S. service members in Jordan were killed in action as U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. Additionally, one service member is currently missing in action.

Four American service members were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. They have since been discharged. Other personnel who were evaluated for minor injuries have returned to duty.

Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will withhold additional information, including the identities of the fallen warriors, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.

At the Commander in Chief's direction, CENTCOM is further degrading Iranian military capabilities and holding Iran accountable for recent attacks on commercial shipping.

U.S. forces struck Iranian command centers, air defense sites, missile and drone capabilities, and coastal surveillance facilities to further degrade Iran's ability to threaten innocent mariners crewing commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM used precision munitions to hit targets in multiple locations including Bandar Abbas.

Earlier this morning, American forces struck coastal defense and cruise missile sites on Greater Tunb Island during a 90-minute wave.

The U.S. military is holding Iran accountable at the Commander in Chief's direction.

More than 3,500 service members from 10 countries including Albania, Croatia, Georgia, Italy, Kosovo, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, and the United States partnered for Exercise Combat Power 26, from June 22 through July 1, 2026, the multinational exercise strengthened interoperability through planning and executing high-intensity joint operations in land, sea, and air domains throughout the Republic of Croatia.
