Horse Creek Near Arcadia at SR 72 affecting DeSoto County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Horse Creek near Arcadia at SR 72.
* WHEN...Until this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, The access road to Hidden Oak is
impassable.
* Additional Details...
- At 8:30 AM Est Friday the stage was 12.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 8:30 AM Est Friday was 12.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this
afternoon and continue falling to 10.3 feet Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.1
feet on 09/30/2003.
