Fleet Readiness Center Southwest:
"CAPT Tim Myers, CNAF Chief of Staff, recently visited Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), where he received a command tour led by Mr. Dave Kelly, FRCSW production director and CAPT Shannon Thompson, FRCSW Commanding Officer.
Throughout the visit, CAPT Myers engaged with FRCSW employees across multiple work centers, gaining firsthand insight into the technical expertise, dedication and capabilities that drive the command's mission. He was particularly impressed by the depth of knowledge demonstrated by the FRCSW workforce and the command's continued efforts to modernize and improve its aging facilities to better support today's maintenance requirements and tomorrow's readiness challenges.
CAPT. Myers recognized the outstanding work being accomplished throughout the command and encouraged the team to maintain its momentum and continue building on the progress already underway.
Visits like these reinforce the importance of FRCSW's people, capabilities and infrastructure to the broader Naval Aviation mission. Through the expertise of its workforce and continued investment in its industrial capabilities, FRCSW remains committed to delivering the readiness the Navy and Marine Corps warfighters need to fight and win in any battle.
FRCSW employees are Backbone of Military Readiness!"
