Horse Creek Near Arcadia at SR 72 affecting DeSoto County.

Alafia River At Lithia affecting Hillsborough County.

Peace River At Arcadia at SR 70 affecting DeSoto County.

.Recent heavy rain across portions of west central Florida has
resulted in several rivers across the region remaining in flood stage
over the next few days.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Horse Creek near Arcadia at SR 72.

* WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Buildings in Hidden Oak flood.

* Additional Details...
- At 7:30 PM Est Wednesday the stage was 13.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 7:30 PM Est Wednesday was 14.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Saturday morning and continue falling to 11.7 feet Saturday
evening.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.5
feet on 09/17/1979.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
