within various parts of the Warning area, due to a widespread 2-5
inches of rain that fell from Monday into Tuesday. Although
excess water will continue to gradually recede from rural roads
and low-lying areas now that rain has ended and most of the next
several days will be dry, minor flooding will remain possible for
at least another day or two especially along smaller creeks and
streams in the area, along with perhaps a few smaller rivers.
Automated gauges indicate that minor flooding is possible over
the next few days, mainly along the Silver Creek and Prairie
Creek in Merrick and Nance counties, and also along the West Fork
Big Blue River in portions of Hamilton, Fillmore and York
counties...including the McCool Junction area. Early this
morning, the automated gauge on the Silver Creek near Silver
Creek has reached its flood stage of 9 feet, and the gauge on the
West Fork Big Blue River near Grafton is within 1 foot of its
flood stage of 11 feet.

Beaver Creek, Wood River, Stone Creek, Prairie Creek, West Fork
Big Blue River, Lincoln Creek, Timber Creek, School Creek, Clear
Creek, Cottonwood Creek, Plum Creek, Elk Creek, Dry Run Creek,
