Mancos River near Mancos affecting Montezuma County.

.Moderate flooding will continue along the Mancos River as excess
runoff moves downstream.

For the Mancos River...including Mancos...Moderate flooding is
occurring.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring with a stage of 8.1 feet near
Mancos. The river is forecast to drop into the minor flood stage by
midnight and below bankfull by Tuesday evening.

* WHERE...Mancos River near Mancos and downstream.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, residential flooding in Mancos is likely.

* Additional Details...
- At 5:00 PM MST Monday the stage was 8.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 5:00 PM MST Monday was 8.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
tomorrow morning and continue falling to 4.4 feet late Saturday
morning.
