* WHAT...Flooding continues, especially along and near the Rio Grande
and Conejos River.
* WHERE...Northeastern Conejos County, West Central Costilla County,
Southeastern Rio Grande County, and Southwestern Alamosa County...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring, especially in areas along
and near the Conejos River and the Rio Grande. Widespread
inundation of agriculture fields, wetlands, and other low-lying
areas persists. Areas of standing or slow moving water will
continue over many roadways.
* Additional Details...
- At 906 PM MDT, Flooding was still occurring in the warning area,
especially in low-lying areas.
- Water levels continues to remain elevated within the Conejos
River near Manassa. In addition, Widespread inundation of
agriculture fields, wetlands, and other low-lying areas.
- Low lying areas in Conejos, Costilla, Rio Grande and Alamosa
counties are impacted, especially along and near the Rio Grande
and Conejos River.
