* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring but is expected to fall to
moderate flooding before going back to major flooding Wednesday
evening.

* WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S.

* WHEN...Until Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, water affects old U.S. Highway 61 near the
river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.7 feet
Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
Saturday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
