precipitation for the next 48 hours.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Louisiana.

* WHEN...From Saturday evening to late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The first quarter mile of Edison Avenue
beyond the railroad tracks begins flooding near this height.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 15.6 feet early Sunday afternoon.
It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
