...The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Nebraska...

West Fork Big Blue River Near Dorchester affecting Seward and
Saline Counties.

The next statement will be issued Thursday morning at 945 AM CDT.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of
record.

* WHERE...West Fork Big Blue River near Dorchester.

* WHEN...From late tonight to late Monday night.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, The county road about 500 feet north of the
gage begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tonight to a crest of 23.2 feet Friday morning. It will then fall
below flood stage late Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.6
feet on 07/01/1986.
