* WHERE...Canadian River at Amarillo 19N.
* WHEN...Until late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Dirt road that runs east alongside the river
channel becomes flooded. This road leads to Rosita Creek Flats
Recreation Area, where primitive camping occurs.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 4.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this evening to a crest of 8.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will
then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon.
