* WHEN...Until noon CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 155 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that much of the Warning area had picked up at least 2.5 to 5
inches of rain in the last 24 hours. At least minor flooding of
several rural roads is likely. Area creeks and rivers will also
experience at least significant within- bank rises, and mainly
minor flooding of some main rivers is also possible. The Little
Blue River near Grafton has risen into minor flood stage and is
likely to remain in minor flood stage through the morning.
Additional off and on light rain remains possible today, mainly
during the morning, before rain completely ends for several days.
