* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northern Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico...
* WHEN...Until 800 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be
passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 557 PM MDT, Moderate to locally heavy rainfall continue to
affect northern Dona Ana County. Localized flooding is likely to
continue.
- Flash flood warnings are also in effect for some areas, including
Rincon.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hatch, Leasburg, Rincon, Northrup Landing, Radium Springs, Dona
Ana, Salem, Garfield, Portions of Jornada Experimental Range,
Uvas Valley, and Hill.
