* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico...
South Central Sierra County in south central New Mexico...
* WHEN...Until 800 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from
earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and
may not be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing
water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 553 PM MDT, Moderate to occassionally heavy rainfall continues
to affect central Sierra County. Runoff will continue to cause
flooding on Animas Creek, Seco Creek, Lower Percha Creek, and
Trujillo Canyon.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Arrey, Caballo, Derry, Palomas, Lower Animas Creek and areas near
Caballo Lake.
