NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 30 at 4:10AM HST until September 30 at 6:30AM HST by NWS Honolulu HI

At 410 AM HST, local law enforcement reported flooding in and around
the town of Hanalei. As of 3:45 AM HST, the Hanalei Bridge has been
closed due to Hanalei River flooding inundating the bridge.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by locally moderate to heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Kapaa, Princeville, Kilauea, Hanalei, North Fork Wailua Trails,
Wainiha, Alakai Swamp Trails, Haena, Wailua Homesteads, Na Pali
State Park, Moloaa and Kokee State Park.
