* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Central Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...
* WHEN...Until 845 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be
passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 250 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated light-to-moderate rain
over locations that received around 2 inches of rain Monday and
Monday night. Flooding is ongoing in Arroyo Hondo, and expected
to occur in other drainages. Up to 0.3 inches of rain have fallen
today.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.25 inches are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Santa Fe, Eldorado At Santa Fe, La Cienega, Cerrillos Hills State
Park, Los Cerrillos, La Bajada and Agua Fria.
- Around 215 PM, authorities reported homes cutoff due to flooding
in Arroyo Hondo.
