NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 29 at 1:05AM MDT until September 29 at 1:45AM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City UT

At 105 AM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Flash
flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported a very large flood wave moving
down Wahweap Creek toward Lake Powell near the town of Big
Water.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, dry
washes, and low water crossings.
