NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 28 at 6:44PM MDT until September 28 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City UT

At 644 PM MDT, Zion National Park Dispatch confirmed that flash
flooding is occurring in Heaps Canyon, as well as several other
drainages within the park. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have
fallen, and additional light to moderate rain is expected to persist
through this evening. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
