* Tornado Warning for...
Southeastern Curry County in east central New Mexico...
* Until 845 PM MDT.
* At 817 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Cannon Air Force Base, or 11 miles north of
Portales, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Clovis, Cannon Air Force Base, Ranchvale and Portair.
This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 379 and 387.
