NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 26 at 12:56AM CDT until September 26 at 5:15AM CDT by NWS Hastings NE

At 1256 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated a
swath of heavy rain from thunderstorms Friday evening across the
warned area. Between 2.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.1 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Osborne, Downs, Mankato, Cawker City, Glen Elder, Jewell, Burr Oak,
Portis, Ionia, Webber, Montrose and Lovewell State Park.
