NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 25 at 7:39PM MDT until September 25 at 9:45PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

At 739 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported flash flooding in
northern Socorro. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Socorro, Escondida, Lemitar, San Antonio, Luis Lopez and Laborcita.

This includes the following highways...
Highway 60 between Mile Markers 122 and 138. Interstate 25 between
Mile Markers 139 and 158.
