* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Des Plaines River from US-41 in Gurnee downstream to
Townline Road in Vernon Hills, including the Gurnee gauge.
* WHEN...Until late Sunday night.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Kilbourne Road and Emerald Avenue threatened
near Grand Avenue in Gurnee.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to crest around 8.3 feet early
Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday
evening.
