* WHAT...West winds 45 to 65 mph with gusts up to 75 mph expected.

* WHERE...Shemya and Attu Islands.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM AKDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and
cause power outages. Travel will be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong low pressure system in the southern
Bering will bring very strong westerly winds through late Thursday
morning. The strongest wind gusts up to 75 mph are likely across
the western Aleutian Islands through early Thursday morning. Winds
to steadily diminish through late Thursday morning.
