NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 22 at 7:16PM MST until September 22 at 9:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ

At 716 PM MST /816 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms
produced heavy rain across the warned area southeast of Indian Wells.
Between 1.25 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts of 0.25 to 0.50 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, and streets.
