NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 22 at 5:45PM MDT until September 22 at 6:45PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

At 545 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area have ended, however, light rain
continues. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in the warned area.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
La Cueva and Cleveland.

This includes State Road 518 between Mile Markers 22 and 28...and
between Mile Markers 30 and 32.

Expect elevated flows in the Mora River.
