Kankakee River at Davis affecting La Porte, Starke and St. Joseph
Counties.

flooding is forecast.
For the Kankakee River...including Davis...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Saint Marys River...including Decatur, St. Mary's River near
Fort Wayne...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Saint Marys River near Decatur.

* WHEN...Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.5 feet, Many east side city streets and county
roads are flooded. Evacuation of east side residents near Bellmont
High School becomes necessary.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:30 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 23.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 3:30 PM EDT Sunday was 23.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
Thursday morning and continue falling to 15.1 feet early Friday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
