* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall earlier this morning
continues.
* WHERE...Northern Jackson County in southeastern Ohio...
Northwestern Meigs County in southeastern Ohio...
Northern Vinton County in southeastern Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water
crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It will
take several hours for all the water from these storms to work
through local drainage systems.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 339 PM EDT, Emergency management reported numerous flooded
roadways in the warned area due to thunderstorms earlier this
morning. Flooding is ongoing. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue. Additional rainfall is expected
tonight.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wellston, Mcarthur, Hamden, Allensville, Byer, and Eagle Mills.
