The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
The island of Kauai in Kauai County

* Until 430 AM HST.

* At 117 AM HST, Doppler radar indicated that rain has ended over
Kauai. However, flooding impacts are ongoing in many locations.
Although river gages indicate stream levels steadily falling,
nearly all streams across the island remain elevated due to
continuing runoff.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Gauges reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
