Hardin, Jefferson and Orange Counties.

For the Neches River...including Town Bluff, Evadale, Neches River
Saltwater Barrier...Moderate flooding is forecast.
For the Village Creek...including Kountze...Major flooding is
forecast.
For the Pine Island Bayou...including Sour Lake...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Village Creek near Kountze.

* WHEN...Until late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, With a forecast of 24 feet, Village Creek
State Park beyond the Village Slough Bridge should be evacuated
including the primitive Camp Grounds.

- At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 17.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 17.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.6 feet
early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
