The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
East Central La Paz County in west central Arizona...

* Until 1130 PM MST.

* At 737 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.25 and 1.75 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Harcuvar, Vicksburg, Salome, Vicksburg Junction and Wenden.

This includes the following highways...
AZ Route 72 between mile markers 39 and 48. US Highway 60 between
mile markers 45 and 54.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Salome Wash, Centennial Wash and Calcite Wash.
