Wabash River at Terre Haute

Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site

.Minor flooding continues along the lower White River from Petersburg
to Hazleton. Minor flooding also continues on the Wabash River from
Montezuma down to Mount Carmel with the crest approaching Vincennes.
Rain amounts with scattered storms Wednesday evening are not expected
to impact main stem river levels.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes.

* WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Agricultural lands and some oil fields
flood. Several township roads about 1.25 miles south of St.
Francesville and River Road between Billett Road and Lincoln
Memorial Bridge in Lawrence County are flooded. Extensive flooding
of Kimmell Park at Vincennes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT /9:45 AM EDT/ Wednesday the stage was 18.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 8:45 AM CDT /9:45 AM EDT/ Wednesday was 18.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
Saturday morning and continue falling to 7.8 feet Friday,
September 04.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
