Indiana...Illinois...

Wabash River at New Harmony.

.Heavy rainfall last week continues to cause slow rises on the Wabash
River. At New Harmony, the river is forecast to crest around at 15.7
feet early Friday and then fall below flood stage early Sunday
morning.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at New Harmony.

* WHEN...Until Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The river overflows low ground on the
Illinois side.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.7 feet
early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
