Wabash River from Montezuma to Mount Carmel

White River from Elliston to Hazleton

.Minor flooding continues along portions of central Indiana rivers
due to excessive rain over the previous few weeks. Largely dry
weather is in store for the week ahead, with only a few low chances
of rain.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.

* WHEN...Until late Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Montezuma agricultural levee is overtopped.
Fourteen hundred acres of low bottomlands flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:45 PM EDT Monday the stage was 18.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 12:45 PM EDT Monday was 21.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 7.6 feet Thursday,
September 03.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
