NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 23 at 9:33PM MST until August 23 at 11:15PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ
At 933 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms earlier this
evening had produced between 2 and 3 inches of heavy rain along and
east of Route 15 near North Komelik. Thunderstorms south of the area
are expected to track through the impacted area with additional
rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches possible. Flash flooding is
ongoing, especially in normally dry washes and low-lying areas that
eventually drain into Santa Rosa Wash near North Komelik.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
