NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 23 at 4:07PM MST until August 23 at 5:30PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ

At 507 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain has ended
over Balakai Wash. However, flash flooding remains a threat from
earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 1 and 2.25 inches
of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no
additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, and
normally dry washes.

Salina.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Steamboat Wash, Tse Ba Ni Zi Ni Wash, Balakai Wash and Cottonwood
Wash.
