NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 22 at 8:13PM EDT until August 22 at 9:45PM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 813 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in New
Baltimore and Berlin. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Bedford, Meyersdale, Berlin, Central City, Buffalo Mills, Indian
Lake, Schellsburg, Manns Choice, Shanksville, New Baltimore and
Rainsburg.
