NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued August 21 at 8:07PM MDT until August 21 at 8:30PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY

At 806 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 11 miles northeast of Dix, or 17 miles northeast of
Kimball, moving south at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and baseball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Cheyenne, northeastern Kimball, southwestern Morrill and
southeastern Banner Counties.
