NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 19 at 6:35PM MST until August 19 at 9:00PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

At 635 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Tanque Verde, Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, Catalina Foothills and
Seven Falls.

This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
Snyder Rd from Kolb Rd to Sabino Canyon Rd.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Esperero Wash, Ventana Canyon Wash, Tanque Verde Wash, Agua
Caliente Wash, Rillito River, Sabino Creek, Pantano Wash and Bird
Canyon.
