Wabash River at Terre Haute, Montezuma, and at Lafayette.

Indiana...Illinois...
Wildcat Creek near Lafayette.
Wabash River at Covington, and at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant
Site.
.Large quantities of rain have fallen over Indiana over the past
several days bringing widespread flooding to much of central and
part of southern Indiana. Rainfall accumulations of up to ten plus
inches fell from northwest Indiana to east central Indiana to
southeast Indiana, and 4 to 6 inches fell in the immediate vicinity
of the northern and middle Wabash River...with even higher amounts
just over the Illinois/Indiana state border near Covington.
Numerous locations along the Wabash River are reaching moderate
flood stage. The crest passed Lafayette today and should reach and
should reach Covington Monday evening.
Additional rain is possible overnight tonight, followed by
decreasing clouds and dry weather Monday.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 22.9 feet, Extensive backwater flooding of Hutson
Creek affecting residential property on the south side of
Hutsonville. Flood waters near the intersection of N. Main and E.
Mechanic St on the northeast side of Hutsonville. RVs and campers
located along the river just south of Hutsonville moved to higher
ground.
