NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 16 at 7:44PM MDT until August 16 at 8:30PM MDT by NWS Pueblo CO

At 744 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy
rain in Fourmile Creek basin south of Highway 24. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no
additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is expected to
continue.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Mainly rural areas of West Central Teller County including the
Fourmile Creek and its tributaries south of highway 24.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Fourmile Creek and its tributaries including but not limited to Hay
Creek and Dry Creek.
