...FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE ASPEN ACRES BURN SCAR REMAINS IN
EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR EASTERN CUSTER AND
SOUTHWESTERN PUEBLO COUNTIES...
At 217 PM MDT, Local law enforcement reported life threatening
flooding over the Aspen Acres Burn Scar with heavy debris flows in
the Beulah area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
flooding is already occurring. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar
will result in debris flow moving through the Squirrel, Middle and
North Creek which flow into the North St Charles River. The debris
flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Middle, Squirrel Creek and North Creek
Drainages including Beulah. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS
SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Aspen Acres Burn Scar.

Roads and residents along the Middle, Squirrel and North Creek as
well as the North St Charles River in the Beulah area.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Muldoon Creek, South Creek, Spring Branch, North Saint Charles
River, Squirrel Creek, Saint Charles River, Middle Creek and Willow
Creek.
