NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 3 at 6:04AM EDT until August 3 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Albany NY

At 604 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that heavy rain was falling across the warned area. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 inch in
1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Pawling, Wingdale, Woodinville, West Pawling, Holmes, Hurd
Corners, Baker Corner, Pecksville, Green Haven, Quaker Hill,
Stormville, Webatuck and Shenandoah.
